Ellen Miller Kwon, Psy.D.

Education and Training

Dr. Miller Kwon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Taylor University, in Upland, Indiana.

She also earned an additional Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University in La Mirada, California. Rosemead School of Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association. 

Both Universities Dr. Miller Kwon attended for her training specializes in integrating psychology and the Christian faith. Dr. Miller Kwon has a special interest in helping Christians integrate their spiritual identity with their sexual identity. However, Dr. Miller Kwon respects your particular spiritual journey and your desires as to whether to bring this into therapy.

Dr. Miller Kwon is currently working as a post-doctoral fellow at Fuller Psychological & Family Services in Pasadena, California. Her supervisor is Robert Glass, Ph.D., licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. 

Dr. Miller Kwon completed her internship focusing on trauma, dual diagnosis (addictions and severe mental illness), and general outpatient care, at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veteran's Medical Center which is also accredited by the American Psychological Association. 

Other training experiences include: dual diagnosis track at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California; extensive outpatient psychotherapy at the Biola Counseling Center in La Mirada, California; and child assessment at the Intercommunity Child Guidance Clinic in Whittier, California.

Dr. Miller Kwon has also worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders in Garden Grove, California.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association as well as the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association and California Psychological Association. 

 Fuller Psychological & Family Services

Fuller Psychological & Family Services is a community counseling clinic in Pasadena, California. Services are offered as an outreach program of the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary to adults, couples, adolescents, and children.
